If communications activities are to maximize their usefulness to a project, they have to be carefully monitoring during implementation, with simple pratical information made available to management as needed, evaluation of their implact is more complex. Therefore, the present note stresses monitoring, that is, reviewing the process of communications components of low-cost sanitation projects. All additional resources required for monotoring and evaluation should be estimated and committed at the project planning stazge and included in the budget for the co. Monotoring and evaluation of communication support activities of projects consist of four dimensions. The first three can be termed monotoring and the fourth, evaluation. Monotoring, as defined here, covers functioning and utilization aspects of communication activities. |
