The purpose is to present an analysis of the genesis, growth and culmination of the severe storm system and the disastrous floods. Part B treats of geologic and geomorphic effects in the big Thompson Canyon area, Larimer county. It gives the consequences of intense rainfall at Colorado. Many homes and other buldings are lifted off their foundations and carried away by the flood. Montain flooding is not uncommon in the front range of Colorado, and previous floods have also produced market geological and geomorphic changes. The documentation tents the abstracts of each part. |
